THE INFLUENCE OF DESIGN PARAMETERS OF A BELT TUBE CONVEYOR ON ITS POWER CONSUMPTION

The estimation of influence of parameters of tubular belt conveyor (LTK) on energy transportation. Based on the analysis of the movement in tubular tape inside the ring idlers identified three main components in the total force of resistance: resistance force against rotation of the rollers, pressing rollers in the tape and deformation of the package and the tape. Analytical expressions for each component and their dependence on various parameters of the conveyor. It is shown that by changing the length of the conveyor, the proportion of each component in the total force of resistance to motion changes, changes accordingly and the influence of parameters of the conveyor on the amount of resistance to movement, and therefore on energy transportation. Changing the most significant for each case the parameters of the conveyor, it is possible to significantly reduce the energy intensity of the transportation LTK.
