ON THE PROBLEM OF FIRE SAFETY BELT CONVEYORS

Engineering solutions on fire safety of belt conveyors are analyzed. There are three actual trends: manufacture and use of nonflammable belts; design and use of belt operation control tools; design and use of automated fire fighting by water. Review of the recent engineering solutions in the area of belt fire safety shows that success here is possible with temperature control tools installed lengthwise a belt and using automated belt control to eliminate unauthorized access.
