TECHNOLOGICAL SCHEMES OF PREPARING THE ORE FOR BLOCK SITU LEACHING DURING DEPOSIT EXTRACTION IN STRELTSOVSKY ORE FIELD

Nowadays OJSC “PIMCU” tends to declinethe mineral resources base. Due to depletion of deposits of rich ores the volume of extraction of poor ores and out of balance ores increases. Existing technology of extraction and processing does not meet the modern requirements. The underground uranium mines are at the stage of development of its reserves. As a consequence, there is a need to find new technologies for the uranium extraction from poor and out of balance ores.
One of the main ways of perfection of technology is the use of physical-chemical ways of uranium extraction, and in particular, block situ leaching (BSL).
During complex technology of extraction of poor-balanced uranium ores by geotechnological methods, technological schemes of preparing ores for block-situ leaching are very important. This is due to significant financial and material costs for development and face-entry drivages, ore breaking and others.
The article presents the technological schemes of block-situ leaching for steeply dipping, pitching, inclined ore bodies with different capacities which are recommended to use at projecting a physical-chemical geotechnology of uranium block-situ leaching.
The proposed technological schemes will reduce the cost of preparing the block and leaching, as well as to increase the extraction of metal.
