PREDICTION OF GEODYNAMIC STABILITY OF GEOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT IN UNDERGROUND ISOLATION OF RADIOACTIVE WASTE

There are the results of predicting the stability of structural and tectonic crustal blocks when choosing locations isolation of high level radioactive waste. On an example Nizhnekanskiy granitoid massif, considered nowadays as the most likely place of burial of radioactive waste in Russia, shows a methodology for predicting the insulating properties of rock masses. Blocks with a high concentration of stress intensity are potentially dangerous for the development
of tectonic destruction.
