STIMATION OF ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF INVESTMENT PROJECTS OF DIAMOND MINING COMPANIES
In this article the author examines the characteristics of the evaluation of investment projects in the diamond industry. The essence of the investment project, which is a comprehensive plan to invest in some «real» objects, as in the fixed assets of the diamond industry, as well as in exploration, as well as activities in the framework of this project, with the calculation of cost-effectiveness and return on investment from such activity. The process of evaluating the effectiveness of the investment project provides for monitoring of the process of its implementation and to provide the necessary information to make decisions on the implementation of changes in the process of its implementation.
The article also reflects the main reasons causing high importance to the implementation of investment projects in the sectors of the economy.
The diamond mining works are carried out, which are costly for the identification and development of deposits, with the acquisition of expensive assets. In addition, the industry needs to be updated obsolete fixed assets that will enhance the effectiveness of their use.
It reflected the basic components of the economic evaluation of investment projects and presents the basic indicators needed to calculate the cost-effectiveness of the investment project. First of all, it is an indicator of net present value (discounted cash net income), the rate of payback period, internal rate of return, return on investment. In general, the assessment of the effectiveness of the investment project in the diamond industry suggests the calculation of commercial, social and budgetary efficiency of the project.
In work the analysis of project risks, contributing to a more accurate assessment of the economic efficiency of the investment project in the diamond industry.
