NON-FERROUS METALLURGY SPOIL FIRES: DETECTION ON SATELLITE IMAGES AND EXTINGUISHING. CASE STUDY: BELOVO ZINC PLANT WASTE
Slagheaps a widespread type of waste of the industry arising at metallurgical processing of raw materials. Now such dumps draw special attention first, as a source of the increased ecological danger, secondly, as a source of useful components and construction materials. In this article the integrated approach to detection of the burning slagheaps of metallurgical production, their suppression is considered.
