RESULTS OF DETERMINING RESERVOIR PRESSURE, PERMEABILITY AND SORPTION PARAMETERS OF COAL SEAM MINING ON RESULTS OF MEASUREMENTS OF METHANE FLUX FROM SHORT WELLS
Presents the results of measuring the formation pressure of methane from short wells and the sorption properties of the coal seam. A method is proposed for determining the formation pressure of methane, consisting in the measurement of gas pressure in the wells short length of about 36 m, were drilled from the roadway. The main idea of the paper is to measure over time the methane flow rate and pressure of methane respectively in open and closed well. The required parameters of mass transfer is determined by comparison of experimental data with results of computer modeling of process of filtration of methane. The developed methodology and tools for measuring pressure and flow rates of methane. Presents the results of the testing in the mine conditions, which confirmed its efficiency.
