FRICTION COEFFICIENT IN THE WHEEL–RAIL CONTACT ZONE AS A FUNCTION OF ROUGHNESS OF INTERACTING SURFACES

Theoretical and practical study of the conditions of interaction of the working surfaces of bandages mining locomotives with rails and rational values defined roughness when profiling rails in order to reduce the duration of the process of running a pair of wheel – rail, which affects the increase in terms of the efficient operation of rail transport career.
