EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF POSSIBILITY OF CONCENTRATION OF DIFFERENT MINERALS IN WIND TUNNEL WITH FLUIDISED BED

As a result of experimental studies of the extraction of various minerals in the wind tunnel with a fluidised bed found an area of high mineral extraction medium density (iron) from 77 to 94%, depending on the conveying (7.3 m/s) and weighting of the flow of air speed (5.2 m/s). Herewith the mineral’s average density (iron scrap) are accumulate evenly along the length of the chamber, and there is a distribution of particles (cast iron) on the particle size, larger particles are settle at the beginning the chamber separation, and smaller is closer to the release of tailings.
