STUDY OF THE PROCESS OF ROCK FAILURE OF DISC CUTTERS

In the course of work developed a mathematical model of process of rock failure of disc cutters. The analysis of the influence coefficient of friction on the depth of penetration of disc cutters and on a torque data of the rotor of a tunnel shield. Presents graphic dependences of the depth of penetration of the disc cutters from the pressure force exerted by the hydraulic jacks, a torque from the rolling force created by the effort of the motors. Results of calculations of the depth of penetration of disc cutters and the values of the torque of the rotor of a tunnel shield. Calculations found that the influence coefficient of friction on the rate of penetration is an important factor that must be considered.
