IMPROVING EFFICIENCY OF AERATION CLASSIFICATION OF SEPARATORS

The analysis of the reasons for the lack of established and operational efficiency aeration classification separators. Criteria of similarity of aeration – aeration factors of attraction and aeration inertia characterizing the vertical and horizontal components of overload of particles of materials under the influence of aerodynamic forces for an integrated assessment of «sail» effect on the trajectory of motion, and as a result, the efficiency of their classification.
A modified method of calculating the aerodynamic particle classification aeration material components, depending on their physical properties, determines the shape of the particles, their size, density, and the combined integrated criterion of «sail», as well as the managed airflow. Using the theory of the dynamics of motion of two-phase medium, the equations determine the position of the hopper assembly aeration classification friction drum-shelf separator, depending on the aerodynamic similarity criteria, providing the highest quality raw material stratification of enriched material. Separate accounting of the effect of the speed of motion of particles of materials and components speed managed airflow allows to determine the optimum range of air flow rates depending on the criteria turndown aeration similarity enriched material.
The efficiency of the separation of the particles depends on the criteria of aeration and aeration attraction inertia defined shape, size, density enriched material, as well as the energy of the directional air flow.
Confirmed the effectiveness of aeration classification using managed airflow.
