EFFECT OF ORE QUALITY LOSS AND VARIABILITY ON LONG-LIFE OPERATING DATA AND ECOLOGICAL INDEX OF A MINING COMPANY (IN TERMS OF APATIT)

A mine is a nature-and-technology system, and its subsystems (nature and technology) interact and exert influence on long-life operating data and ecological index of the whole production. As one of the basic elements of mining, an ore body conditions the functioning and interaction of the subsystems. Currently it is steadily observed that useful component content reduces in ore produced and ore quality is varied, which leads to an increase in the amount of opening up and mining, in the quantity of ore feed to processing plants and in their processing capacity, in total volume of mining and processing waste and in the cost and assets spent to mining and processing. The related theoretical models are discussed in the article in terms of Apatit mining company.
