ENHANCEMENT OF URANIUM MINE EFFICIENCY BASED ON MODELING AND OPTIMIZING PRODUCTION AND PROCESSING OF PREGNANT SOLUTIONS

The article substantiates the necessity of an information system for planning, recording, controlling and optimizing basic and auxiliary processes in uranium production and processing in mines of Kazatomprom National Atomic Company. The project is aimed at receiving extra profit from introduction of information technologies with MES and LIMS systems. The project objectives are set to improve process performance, reliability, fault-tolerance and safety of mining at various stages of technology cycle, as well as to abate errors and human-factor effect, to upgrade communication between mine divisions and to achieve personalized responsibility for the production results.

In order to succeed with the set aim and objectives, the optimization models are developed for technological processes, including efficient damage control in drill holes, procedural rules for abnormalities, personnel action time and specific consumption of resources.
