DESTRUCTION OF COMPLEX-STRUCTURE FERRUGINOUS QUARTZITE BY EXPLOSION-TYPE MAGNETIC IMPACT, CONSIDERING GEOLOGICAL AND GEOPHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND EFFICIENT SUBSOIL USE

The feasibility and efficiency of explosion-type magnetic treatment of rocks at the drilling-and-blasting stage is substantiated in terms of ferruginous quartzite as a promising trend in production with a view to improving quality of subsequent processing. The geological and geophysical validation of integrated explosion-type magnetic effect exerted on rock mass for the purpose of optimization of blasting and mining as well as for rational development of ferruginous quartzite deposits is given. The results of laboratory and full-sale tests of the explosion-type magnetic impact method are reported, and the explosion-type magnetic effect parameters and application field in mining engineering are analyzed.
