USE OF ECONOMIC INDICATORS IN MEDIUM-TERM MINE PLANNING IN GEOLOGICAL AND MINING INFORMATION SYSTEM MICROMINE

Geological and mining information systems enjoy increasingly wider application at modern mines, and expert use of functions of bundled software as well as development of the appropriate procedures is thus a very important and topical problem. The article describes the medium-term underground mine planning procedure in geological and mining information system Micromine in terms of a copper deposit under development using the room-and-pillar method. An emphasis is laid on accounting for various economic indicators when determining mining sequence and technology. The list of required data for implementing the procedure in underground mine planning in Micromine is presented. The proposed procedure allows the key performance indicators and the selected mining advance efficiency to be identified and evaluated at the stage of mine planning. The effect of the developed procedure is illustrated and the examples of report documentation in geological and mining information system Micromine are given.
