STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT IN THE CEMENT INDUSTRY

The article illustrates the importance of the cement industry as a segment of the mining and processing industry. The strategic management rules and functions are discussed. An emphasis is laid on the information support of management. The author highlights principled approaches that govern the strategic vector of development in the information technologies based on the digital economy concept. The accomplished analysis of different strategies points at the need of the quality information support based on the intelligent data interpretation. The promising lines of advance in the information support in the cement industry are identified.
