The article analyses basic factors of production and business activities of uranium mine in comparison with the world’s leading uranium producers, and lists key problems of strategic development. Based on the accomplished research, models and mechanisms are developed for solving key problems connected with implementation of uranium mine strategy, and economic effect of the strategy implementation is evaluated. The long-term strategy of uranium mine development incorporates the concept of reaching stability on the market, advancement and efficiency enhancement through annual increase in uranium production output, buildup of corporate management and technological innovation rating and rise in profit return (investment profitability in terms of money flow). A special emphasis is laid on strengthening of health, safety and environment protection requirements, as well as on elevating of personnel skills, social peace and immunity.
