INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY LATHES MACHINING CENTERS DUE TO THE CLUSTERING OF WORKPIECES IN SMALL BATCH PRODUCTION

When production of parts in small batches having a large loss of time due to the readjustment of the equipment during the transition from one party to another. To resolve this problem, used the science basis of Group components processing method proposed in the 60-ies of Russian scientist the S. P. Mitrofanov. The main disadvantage of this method lies in the increased requirements to the training of technologists, engaged in the development of group process and group identification details of the representative. However, due to the wide introduction of high-performance and cheap computers in manufacturing, recently a significant development has been the scientific direction of the Automation technologists. One of these methods is clustering databases of the machined parts. Automatic classification of the production item and the formation of optimal sequence of processing, improves the efficiency of metalworking equipment. This paper proposes a mathematical model of clustering the database according to four criteria: the number of parts in party; the number of cutting tools; diameter and material the workpiece. This model was applied in the development of automated system the grouping of parts of rotation. Received the software, which has been implemented on the production cycle of the machining plot with a flexible production module. The ratio of auxiliary and main time showed, that the hardware processing party details in the proposed software product sequence, increases the productivity of the machine. The method showed to the reduction average time in auxiliary transitions for the replacement of the workpiece and the tool.
