ACTUAL STATUS AND PROSPECTS FOR FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF SURFACE MINERS, DESIGNED FOR FOR BLASTLESS LIT-BY-LIT EXCAVATION OF SOLID ROCK

Technology of minerals dredging is based on application of overburden and mining cars of high single power. Nowadays these cars reached such a technological level, that possibilities of its development became close to limit. Drilling-and-blasting way is a traditional way of fields development. This way minerals are prepared to extraction and loading operations. The biggest disadvantage of traditional technology is that at the process of stocks calculation layers of potential minerals can be carried to the lowest grade. Many samples of continuously working combines were developed as a result of researches, which American, German and Austrian companies conducted. These machines are used for fields opencast mining by the way of layer-by-layer milling — «Continuous Surface Miner» (CSM), and multilayered milling — jib harvester. Pit harvesters possess high mobility and faces selective working off. Also these combines provide high level of mining threading in combination with automation of extraction, loading and transporting operations with application of remote control. In contrast to rotor and one-ladle excavator, harvester of layer-by-layer extraction of rock represents transportable device high moving speed. These machines are the best variant for fields of big areas. Thus, creation and implementation of new generation cars into open-pit mining is progressive direction at the improvement of extraction and loading operations.
