Complex of hydromechanized extraction and gasification of peat raw materials for remote and hard-to-reach regions

The article discusses a hydromechanized technology with a description of the structure of mining equipment and equipment for processing peat raw materials, based on theoretical methods to increase the efficiency of peat pulp dewatering. The logical scheme of the operations performed by the proposed technology is presented. Based on the developed logical scheme, an analysis of the material balance was carried out with an assessment of the specific energy costs for peat production using the classical extraction scheme using dredgers and drying fields and the proposed technology, where the intensification of water separation is carried out in a magnetic field. The complex of equipment of the proposed hydro-mechanized technology of peat extraction and processing provides for the use of a thermochemical method for converting peat through gasification, which makes it possible to obtain generator gas. The main stages of peat gasification in special in-line gas generators or boiler plants for the production of synthesis gas are considered. The prospects of using a peat processing scheme based on the gasification process to ensure the autonomy of the facility are described, which is especially important for the development of peat deposits in hard-to-reach and remote regions. Recommendations are given on the need for additional study of the calorific value of the generator gas, removal of impurities contained in the generator gas to ensure stable and reliable operation of gas turbine installations.

Keywords: peat extraction, intensification of water separation, magnetic processing, peat pulp, generator gas.
