Influence of ground control features on indicators of dilution in mines of the Talanakh ore province

High values of the ore dilution and tendency to decrease the grade of useful components in the rock mass extracted over the past 14 years have been noted. There are results of the geotechnical description of the oriented core drilling and data of microseismic monitoring. Rating methods of disturbance assessing, based on them methods for predicting spontaneous collapses within excavation are also considered. It is concluded that the main reasons for a significant increasing of dilution coefficient (up to 30% or more) in the conditions of the Oktyabrsky mine are the involvement in excavating deiminated ore characterized by increased crack intensity of natural and humane-made origin, as well as not taking this factor into account when determining the parameters of the chamber development system and the direction of penetration of the treatment chambers relative to orientation cracks in the main systems. It was found that at the accepted height of the chambers (up to 25 m), the consequences of increased crack intensity are collapses of the sides of the chambers. The cavities formed in this case are filled with filler material, which collapses during the excavation of secondary (secondary) chambers by drilling and blasting, which ultimately leads to an increase ore dilution. The organizational and technical recommendations are substantiated for reducing ore dilution with laying material in the conditions of the Oktyabrsky mine.
