Birth: March 8, 1947.
Education: in 1971 graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys with qualification on Mineral Dressing; 1974–1977—full-time postgraduate courses at the Institute of Earth’ Physics of the USSR Academy of Sciences (Sector of Physical and Technical Mining Problems); in 32005 defended his doctoral theses: Theoretical Development and High-Performance Column Equipment Design for Pulsating Pneumatic Flotation
Academic degree and rank: Doctor of Engineering Sciences.
Area of research expertise: Mineral beneficiation, nonconventional mineral raw materials, flotation technology and equipment, inter-phase interaction in flotation, colloid chemistry, combination methods of mineral processing and integrated use.
Professional activities: researcher at the Institute of Comprehensive Exploitation of Mineral Resources — IPKON, Russian Academy of Sciences since 1977; Principal Researcher and Head of Laboratory for Integrated Processing of Nonconventional Mineral Raw Materials.
