in automation, processing and analysis of geo-acoustic and seismic research. Designer of some software programs and computer technologies for geomechanical and geophysical research.

A. A. Glukhov headed and participated in development of theoretical framework for the practical application of diffracted waves in prediction of faults in coals seams using mine seismics; developed and introduced a seismic data processing procedure which has no equivalent in the world: the procedure allows high reliable faulting predictions, which enhances safety and efficiency of underground coal mining.
